With Windows 7 party packs being received by geeks all over the world, the question that comes up with regards to getting a party pack is now answered. The more you know!
Yes, that is crazy. It’s a good thing Mac users are more sensible, and don’t line up all around the block, sleeping outside the Apple Store to buy an iPhone or Snow Leopard. I’ts also good Linux users don’t form LUGs and have Install Fests.
Crazy or not, my uncle used to have a sign on his office door (when he was a programming professor) “Blessed be those who speak to inanimate objects… For they shall be computer programmers.”
Actually, what I’m saying is more akin to it is funny that Mac users can engage in cult-like behavior, worshipping at the altar of Steve Jobs.
Linux users are members of some pseudo-ideological crusade against “teh Ebil M$”, but Windows users are made fun of for wanting something called a “party pack”.
Nice one, Krisha! I got the party pack email and was all like, “Free Windows 7? Count me in.”
Then I read the fine print, and was like, “Socialization? In PERSON? Er, I’m a lifelong computer geek who can count the number of friends that even live in the same state as me on one hand. Count me out.” (how I ever got married and procreated it still a head-scratcher for me. lol)
So, I sit contentedly with my complimentary copy of Vista Ultimate, that *gasp* actually runs just fine on my computer anyway. :D

Oh, wait…
hahaha – so what you’re saying Namenlos, is that we’re ALL crazy – no matter what platform we use. :)

Not really, Krishna.

: )
I’m an equal opportunity humorist. I’ve skewed Mac and Linux before too. All are fair game here!
I know, Krishna, that’s why I included the ” : ) ” in my last post.
