In case you’ve been holding out, Microsoft has recently announced (no joke!) a special version of Windows 7, dubbed the “Steve Ballmer” edition.
Copies are being given to Windows enthusiasts who are hosting their own Windows 7 launch parties throughout the country.
I’m not quite sure what to make of autographed editions of software. Is it collectible? Does it lose value if you open it? Does Windows 7 really need a “Steve Ballmer” edition? Or, put more succinctly, does anyone outside of the tech crowd even *know* who Steve Ballmer is?
What do you think? Sound off in the comments below!

Steve Ballmer belongs in a padded cell, along with Windows 7 (?!?). That’s it. Not worth loosing any more words on the subject.
Really? Windows 7 belongs in a padded cell? Ok… maybe it’s good that you’re not “loosing” any more words on the subject. Though it may be interesting (to say the least) to have you regale us.
Red vs. Blue did something similar :) Still just as funny.

Wall Street knows who Steve Ballmer is. They are also the only ones who like him. And like Steve Ballmer, Wall Street is delusional.
Great comic, but why is there a CRT screen in the first panel and a flatscreen in the others?
Thanks, Bert! To answer your question, Milton’s in Bob’s computer room.
Didn’t think of that, sorry ;)
this is batcrapbananaes crazy
I’m afraid not to get the “Steve Ballmer Edition” Windows 7. He’s what we in the scientific community call bats**t insane.
