I lurk on the AOL sites, posting comments to get a rise out of the readers. I usually don’t even have to read the news article to figure out what most of the comments are going to be – most of AOL right now is older, conservative and bigoted.
Kinda like shooting fish in a barrel, but a great way for me to find and outlet.
Heh. Yeah, I can just see myself regealing my nieces and nephews of the “good old days” when people used computers with line commands, chatted with IRC and Telnet, did searches with archie, and the first web browsers were so simple, anyone could program a page with their word processor.
I still remember the BBS I ran out of my college dorm room with my brother on an Apple IIe with a 300 baud modem. Drove my parents nuts cuz if someone was on the system, they couldn’t call us. :D
That was then, and it was fun, but momma don’t take my dsl away.

Just imagine trying to describe to our children what “Dial-up” is, or when we thought 56K was super fast!
