Having raised 2 kids, I know how much time it takes when they are young....And there are things you just don't want to miss, To get others to help promote your site....I know there are some out there that create MySpace sites or Facebook Sites that their fans can join...Which in turn gives a bit of advertising through them to their friends. I have found a couple of sites I go to often this way. It was on my friends accounts and I clicked on them to see what they were. I mean, your revenues are ads, guest-star-strips and selling prints. If there's more - I can't see it. You have to have stuff to sell, something concrete (finish the book already), you have to advertise on somewhere else and if you are advertising somewhere now you have to do it somewhere else if it's not bringing you any food on the table. Being on few podcast which don't quite frankly gather much listeners to be frank compared to the stuff you can achieve by doing more. You need to get the word out, fast and BIG! Fans will help, you don't have to carry the load yourself - I will help and I bet there are LOTS of other fans to help, too. I don't mean to be blunt here either but I can honestly say that you just can't expect that staying on schedule, being online with the strip 10 years or so and having too little to sell to the people can bring money to the bank account.
