Fellow webcartoonist (The Drunken Fools), Antoine Gagnon, commissioned me to feature him in his own PC Weenies guest-star ‘toon. He gave me complete freedom to come up with an idea. The only restrictions: It had to be funny, and Antoine had to sport his trademark Limca shirt (his favorite drink).
No pressure there, huh?
Antoine liked the ‘toon – hopefully you found it amusing as well. And interestingly enough, it fits the continuity of the strips I’ve been working on.
Guest-starring is really easy. Sign up today to be weaved into the fabric of the PC Weenies universe!

This one was all sorts of fun to draw. Would you like to see the last panel as a desktop wallpaper? Let me know!

I’m dusting off my old portfolio and putting a new one together. Below are a few sample pages I worked on this evening. The lower page consists of two images created for Microsoft last year. I’m available for freelance illustration. If you’ve got a design problem that needs solving, I’m your guy!

A brand new UN3 comic was posted a few minutes back. Have a look!
I’ve been somewhat behind on blogging – partially because of my workload, but mostly because there haven’t been too many exciting things happening around here.
On a techie note, I upgraded my Macbook Pro to 4GB of Kingston RAM last night. Installation was really easy and really gives the machine more oompf in running Photoshop. Always a good thing.
Oh, and on this week’s Art and Story Alive, Jerzy, Mark, myself and others revisit the topics of “writer’s block” and “artist block”. The subject of Twitter and how (and why) we use it is the subject of the second half of the show.

I thought I’d explore a little more of the Bob / Pam dynamic this week. Hope you enjoy ‘em. As always, I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Thanks!

Reminder: Less than a day til PC Weenies sketch auction concludes.
We’re in a tough economy. I think it’s safe to say that people know that. But it doesn’t stop the news stations from hitting us over the head with the grim reality day in and day out.
The PC Weenies sketch auction closes on Wednesday. Here’s your chance to snag a print and the original sketch that was used to make the comic, taken directly from yours truly’s sketchbook.

The new navigation system you see below each strip comes courtesy of the generous and brilliant Phil “Frumph” Hofer. Frumph is a true force of good on the webcomics scene – he’s always willing to help cartoonists out with any coding issues. I’m very much grateful for all his help – I just wish I hadn’t been so shy to ask him for help earlier.
The navigation update was long overdue, and in addition to having that functionality, it is now easier than ever to order a print of any of the comics I’ve already created. Plus, as a bonus feature, the new ‘random comic’ button was added for new readers to get a flavor of the strip without having to trawl through the archives.
Please let me know what you think of these enhancements. And do me a favor – go visit Phil’s awesome Frumph.net too.
I’d write more, but my wife and daughter have both come down with the cold – so I’ll be spending time with them today.
Thanks again, Frumph! You Rock!
