My cousin has a 15” laptop and uses 800 x 600. Complete with black bars of unused screen space. Despicable.

I can so relate! I’m sys support for over 1000 users and have users like that all the time… Does anyone here actually use (or know someone who uses) 800×600?

I know a lot of techs in town who “fix” their clients computers this way – without permission.
They also will install an alternate web browser like Firefox, set it as the default browser – again, without asking.
Others put in their own branded logo and company name all over the computer, replacing the defaults set by the Manufacturer.
I get to “fix” a lot of these computers after the fact and restore them to the original condition. If I need to change something, or if they just need to be shown how to use the new browser – then I do that.
Change can be OK with the computers – as long as you ask and show the owners first.

Can so relate. My in-laws barely understand technology and so they want me to help but when I do it causes more grief because they don’t understand what I did.

i so want to do this everytime i visit my in-laws, but i know that just because i can’t stand it doesn’t mean i should try and “fix it”.

Wow Great stuff,I really like the set-up you have here,Im surprised that no one else has thought of this before now!You should bring this up in the new podcast!How to personalize and connect with your audience,this is a great IDEA!I have seen your broadcast on youstream before,what program Are you using to color it with and inking it with?It didn’t look like illustrator or Photoshop,Then again it depends on what version you have as to how it looks,I just upgraded Photoshop cs3 to cs4 and in so far as what I do it seems to have been a waste!anyways great Comic Krishna!
