I dunno. I kinda like black-n-white. Color is fun, too – but all sorts of time-consuming. Would people really miss the coloring part, if I were to stop doing it?
The comic i’m a part of is actually considering going from 2 panels a week to 3 with the third being in b&w. It’d be like a reverse Sunday paper. Where only one day a week would be b&w.
Upset? no? disappointed? Probably. I’ve seen you color and it doesn’t take *that* long to justify it!
No seriously, the color does add that little extra bit of professionalism that is expected with such a great webcomic like this. It kind of puts you one step above, those who don’t color.
Although, if it helped you spend time with your daughter and wife more I know several people that would color for you =)
Man, that’s exacly what I think everytime I’m starting to color the strip “This looks GOOD in b&w, the coloring takes forever… would anyone care if I just quit with the color?” Sometimes I wish I hadn’t started with color from the beginning. That way people would have nothing to miss, and I could do it SOMETIME and everybody would think it was double the awesome (When, in fact, it’s half the awesome rest of the time).
We want colour! We want colour!
Yes, we do!
I’d miss it, but I wouldn’t complain…
And, more importantly, I’d still keep reading the strip.
Cool. Color it is – but you guys wouldn’t be too terribly upset if I switched to Black n White once in a while, right?

I’d have no problem with the occasional B&W if it fits for the strip, or if you just need more quality time with the family.
Work is not an excuse for not coloring the strip!!! ;-)
